ನೆರಳಾದರು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಎನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸದಿರಬಹುದು,
ಆದರೆ ಅಹಂಕಾರವೆಂಬುದು ಸದಾ ಕತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಬೆಂಬೆತ್ತಿಹುದು
ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಅಸೂಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜೊತೆಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಕರೆತರುತಿಹುದು
ಕಾಮ ಕ್ರೋಧ ಲೋಭ ಮೋಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂಕಳಲ್ಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿಹುದು
ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ನೂರು ಯೋಜನಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ದೂರ ಇಟ್ಟಿಹುದು
ಸುಳಿವೆನಗೆ ಸಿಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು ರಾಘವೇದ್ರ, ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿಯ
ಸುಳಿವೆನಗೆ ಸಿಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು, ಸಂಸಾರದ
ಸುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿಹೆ ನಾ
ಅಳಿಯುವ ಈ ದೇಹವೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವೆಂದು,
ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದವೆಂದು,

Well said/quoted Sumanth.It needs to be realized by every individual.Most often we do things just to satisfy our ego which in longer run ruins our own life.Hence we definitely need to be beware of ego whenever wherever possible.Again,I always used to hear from my parents."Krishna Maha bharatdalli heliddu enu andre "nanu yavudunna sahisidru AHANKARA matra sahisolla"".

This ego is the root cause of all attachment.In this vast universe ,where the human body is nothing ,we cling desperately to this body and sense pleasures.What a tragedy ? Even after hearing about Great Lives being led by people who had sacrificed their ego completely ( Purandaradasa,Kanakadasa,Sri Ramana Maharishi etc.. ) this wretched ego of ours is not going.
Such a vast ocean of nectar of God Realization is before us for the taking and yet we cling to this EGO and are destroying the oppurtunity bestowed on us by the LORD.
Who but Lord Hari alone can save us from this horrible situation ?
